  • Origin: Tropical rainforests of Central and South America — big-leaf statement-makers. 
  • Where I thrive: Bright, indirect light; avoid harsh direct sun that can scorch leaves.
  • Hydrate: Water when the top 1–2 inches of soil are dry, usually every 7–10 days, and allow good drainage.
  • Other care instructions: Provide a moss pole or stake for climbing, wipe leaves occasionally to keep pores clear, and rotate for even growth.
